Ybycuí National Park
Located about two and half hours from Asuncion, Ybycuí National Park is a fusion of mountain ranges with abundant crystalline streams and impressive waterfalls, situated in the Paraguayan Atlantic Forest ecoregion.
By trails, you will find a viewpoint and the Guaraní and Escondido waterfalls with cascades 10-12 meters in height. Both waterfalls are in the midst of lush vegetation and cascade upon stones covered with ferns, lichens and other varieties of plants.
